Kuronami no Yaiba Project is Moving Forward

My blog about the Kuronami No Yaiba project has received a lot of feedback from my customers.

I can feel their passion for this new knife replica.

So I have put my time into developing these new crafts once I have finished my Octane heirloom recolor project.

Now I'm here updating some more details that customers frequently asked for or something you may be interested in.

1. Would the Kuronami Kunai be life-sized?

The answer is yes, I mainly do life-size metal game knife crafts, and the life-size props are surely more popular with more customers. So, why not?
Well maybe the mini version is more affordable for some customers, or your budget is limited, you can find a mini version here.

2. What's the material of it?

I mainly make crafts with metal materials, and sometimes, also do 3D printing props with resin. But for this craft, I will do it with metal. Metal knife crafts always give people a better feeling of strength. I guess you also want a metal one, am I correct?

3. Will there be a chain attached to it?

Yes, I will use a metal chain to connect each of the kunai. But please don't expect you can use the chain to swing it like what is in the game.

4. Can we use the Kuronami No Yaiba as throwing kunai?

The answer is no. The crafts I made are mainly for collection, display, or cosplay. The soft metal material makes them not as strong as steel weapons. Throwing them may lead to a breaking or painting off.

5. How many color options will there be?

I will make all 4 kinds of color options in-game. I will use the handle color to distinguish them from each other, such as grey handle, purple handle, black handle, and white handle. So which color is your favorite one? kindly tell me in the comments.

6. How much would it be?

Well, I guess this is really important once you are thinking about buying the Kuronami No Yaiba metal life size replica. Let me explain the price of it. I'm really enjoying making those fantasy weapons into reality. So when I make a game knife, making money is not the biggest reason for it, that's why I keep making my crafts with the best quality and affordable price.
For the Kuronami No Yaiba, the final price has not been decided yet. But it will be a little higher than some of my most popular Valorant knife replicas, such as the RGX knife, Reaver Karambit, and Yoru Comb.

Considering it's a pair of Kunai, they will take double the time to make. Each of them takes around the same amount of eco-friendly alloy for making as the Jett Knife. And it costs double as shipping of a single knife. I guess the final price would be around 50-60 USD for it. (One Set Kuronami Kunai, a pair)

7. Is Pre-ordering available and what's the price?

Yes, you can pre-order it now. No matter what color option you want is available for pre-ordering. The estimated release date is around September 30th, 2024. The pre-ordering price is 39.99 USD. This discount lasts until September 30th, 2024. To get the discount, you don't need to put in any discount code or ask anyone for it. Just put it in your cart, then it will automatically get a 20 USD cut-off. Thinking about getting a pair of handmade Kuronami Kunai with each for less than 20 USD. That means I rarely make money from it, just the cost of the material, package, and shipping cost.
