I have made 3 versions of the RGX knife from Valorant. And I should be the first one to make it with metal.
It was 2 years ago, The RGX knife caught my eye at the time I saw it.
So I started my RGX knife project.
I like it mainly because of its Science fiction-inspired design.
So there is the 1st generation RGX knife.
Here are some pictures of the first generation.
They are quite popular by Valorant gamers because of the high similarity to the game, and sold out already.
I have improved them to the 2nd generation, which has a luminous effect.
Because a lot of gamers want it to have a light-up effect just like what is in the game.
I have to say it's almost impossible to install a light-up device and battery to such a butterfly knife.
But we find a solution to make it with luminous material.
Since we have used the best luminous paint material we can find on the market.
The final product looks very attractive during the night.
Once you charge it under a strong light, it will light up in a dark place.
Therefore the 2nd generation turned out to be a classical one and I keep making it till now.
As a game knife replica for display, they are quite nice with a high similarity to game design.

But since the raw material of the RGX knife replica we made is zinc alloy, it's on the heavy side as a trainer.
So I have also made some aluminium alloy versions RGX knife or gamers who also want to learn balisong flipping tricks.
They are made with CNC technology, which is lightweight, and has a very nice flipping effect.
To make them more legitimate as a trainer, they are designed to have holes in the blades.
Then you can bring it to a public area with no problems.

It was the end of last year, a Chinese factory boss contacted me to tell me that they had copied my RGX knife replica and told me maybe I could sell the version they made instead of selling my version which may have a higher cost.
I was surprised that why they didn't just do it with their understanding of the game design.
But after I saw the final product they made, I understood that they are just lack of skill.
Let's do a comparison of my version vs their copy.
1. Package
I used a carton to pack the RGX knife replicas while they used a plastic card box. You may have noticed that I have gradually upgraded a lot of my crafts with a new gift carton, which looks cool and has better protection for my crafts. The reason I don't use plastic card boxes on my new crafts is because they provide weak protection for crafts. And if you are going to use the craft as a gift, a plastic box will surely lower the gift level in the receiver's mind.
2. Size
The 2 knife replicas are the same size. The left one is the copy version, while the right noe is my version.
3. Mechanism
To improve the flipping ability of my RGX knife, I used my customized screws to make the knife replica and there are bearings in my versions' handles. Check the picture.
But there are no such mechanisms in the copy one, their screws look like plastic, and the handles are very loose. 
3. Luminous effect
The way we make the luminous paint is quite different. My version has a small groove on the handles, high-concentration luminescent material is dropped in the groove. And they make a nice lighting-up effect after solidification.
The copy one just mixes luminous material with some other color paints and paints them on the handle.
The luminous effect is fine, but there will be small powder particles on the handle, the luminous powder.
And somehow, their green version RGX knife replica has a very weak luminous effect. Usually, the green light is the strongest luminous light, and you can clearly see it when the environment is darker.

4. Details
My RGX knife has a channel handle while the copy one has a sandwich structure handle. I guess they want to save some material to lower the cost.
The channel design should be closer to game design for sure.

5. Flipping ability
You can check the professional review about the flipping ability of my RGX knife replica. You can easily use them to do tricks, the flipping ability is not bad because of the bearings and screws I used to make it. But as I said, they are on the heavy side. So they are not ideal balisong trainers. As for copy one, they are not durable, since the screws are weak like plastic. Besides the handles are quite loose. So flipping ability is much worse than my version.
I made those comparisons mainly because there is someone else using my picture to sell you guys low-quality products or even copying my product descriptions.
